David "Nelson" is a current Product Engineer in training for UNITEC Parts. He previously worked as a co-op at UNITEC Parts from 2017-2019. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in the field of Sport Management.

When not working he loves to watch and play sports, spend time with his wife Jewel and son Kyro (2), play piano, sing and volunteer. He plays men’s softball and is also a Head Youth Leader and Worship Team leader at Upper Room Christian Center in Meriden, Connecticut. He is in charge of organizing group activities for the children as well as teaching them about the bible. He also oversees selecting, playing, and singing songs for Sunday morning worship. His goal in life is to be more like Jesus and spread love and kindness to those he encounters.
