DRIVES:

Our drive repair program is more than just a repair, we provide an entire refresh!

• Your drive will be completely disassembled and cleaned.
• PC boards are inspected, upgraded (if needed) and independently static tested.
• Components such as bulk capacitors and relays are inspected and replaced, even if they have not failed. These are  preventative step to ensure an extended life.
• The entire drive is re-assembled and dynamically tested (with LOAD) on a simulator.
   

The  drive refresh program was designed and implemented by Otis Engineers at the Otis Service Center. Save time and labor while replacing with original Otis OEM parts to keep your drive functioning safely. 

PC BOARDS:

The Repair Program - This option offers the best value for your repair needs. Our team of Otis OEM factory-trained technicians meticulously oversees every phase of the repair process. Your board undergoes a thorough visual inspection and then goes through an advanced automated ultrasonic cleaning process. We also ensure that your board receives any necessary onboard software updates and component upgrades. Additionally, we replace worn components such as capacitors and switches. Your board then undergoes rigorous testing on a static and/or dynamic test fixture meticulously designed and built by our Otis engineers. These cutting-edge fixtures thoroughly assess all I/O and other circuits on your board to pinpoint and resolve any faults. Should any components be found faulty, they are promptly replaced, and the board is retested until it successfully passes all engineering tests.

The Exchange Program - Experience the convenience of our fast delivery option at an unbeatable price. Our PC board exchange program empowers you to swiftly obtain the board you need without enduring lengthy repair times. If the board you require is available for exchange, we can expedite the replacement to you without delay. You can then return your core/exchange board to us using the Return Authorization (RA) that we will provide to you at the time of sale.

Board Purchase Program  - Should your board be irreparable or if you don't have one to exchange, take advantage of the opportunity to purchase a new or refurbished board from our extensive inventory.

Instructions for sending your board to Unitec:  Please do not send in a board before you receive your RA Number.  You must mark your box with the RA number in large clear markings.   If the box is not marked this may result in potential loss of your board.   When your board is received it will be repaired and sent back to you.  If we can not repair your board, it will be returned with an evaluation fee for testing.   PC Boards damaged by fire, water, or severe electrical failure, or have been previously repaired by another Electronic Shop can not be repaired.   It's important to remove all contract software chips from the PC Board before you send it in  Given the rarity of some PC boards, a replacement may not be available.  We are not responsible for lost boards if they are not marked with an RA or missing software.   Please remember not to use packing peanuts with electronic parts.
